JOB DESCRIPTION
The project aims at developing an innovative service for the diagnosis and the treatment of cancer, based on cutting-edge technologies for genome sequencing and the use of clinical decision support systems. Candidates must be able to integrate omics data and develop a computational methodology for their analysis. Good knowledge of programming languages (Java and R) for the processing of experimental data, creating databases and of main IT and statistical tools.
In-depth knowledge of genomic analyses by bioinformatics tools. Design of algorithms and methodologies for supervised and unsupervised classification.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The project aims at analyzing tumor samples, based on cutting-edge technologies for genome sequencing, for a more precise diagnosis. Moreover, the identification of genetic alterations, even present in low percentage, will allow the selection of oncological patients which will benefit from innovative therapies.
Strong expertises in the following experimental techniques are required: Nucleic acid extraction from FFPE, biopsy and blood samples; preparation of NGS library and sequencing, PCR, real-time PCR and digital PCR.
